Jim Boyd:
Jim is married to Kirsty and they have two of a family. He was in general practice in the town. Originally from Glasgow, the family moved here when he began his medical career.
Willie Ford:
Willie is a retired engineer. He takes an active role in the congregation and in his work for the Gideons. He has two adult children and three grandsons.
Norman Mackay:
Norman is originally from Glasgow. He and his wife Alison studied at Northumbria Bible College and International Christian College respectively, then at the University of Glasgow. Thereafter they served as missionaries with WEC International for many years. Sensing God’s call to pastoral ministry after returning to Scotland, Norman became minister of Cumnock Baptist Church in East Ayrshire. Prior to moving into the Free Church of Scotland he completed further studies through the Highland Theological College . Norman began his ministry in Falkirk Free Church in November 2007. He and Alison have two children.
Donald Matheson:
Donald is a retired army Lieut. Col. and Management Recruitment Consultant. It is fair to say he is only semi-retired as he continues to do some consultancy for the company he and his wife built up before moving from Aberdeen. He and Alice have five children who are now scattered throughout the world. He is very involved in the wider administration of the denomination.
Deacons:
Andy Daramola:
Andy is an engineer working in the water industry. He is married to Agnes and they have four childdren. The family lives in Stenhousemuir, Falkirk.
Andy Johnstone
Andy grew up in the Free Church in Cumbernauld and came to faith in his early childhood. He first came to Falkirk in 1999 and returned in 2002 after brief spells at Kirkcaldy and Dunblane. He is indebted to many people in those congregations and to those in Buccleuch & Greyfriars who helped him along the way. He teaches in Alloa.
Ewen Morrison:
Ewen works in engineering in Edinburgh. He and Hazel have had three kids.
Colin Nicolson:
Colin teaches Religious Education at Bellshill Academy, Glasgow. He is married to Alison and has one son. The family live in Carron, Falkirk.
Rob Proudlove:
Rob Proudlove is married to Rosemary and they have three grown-up children. Rob was converted to Christ at 18 yrs of age and has worked as a GP in Bo'ness since 1982. The Proudloves joined the Falkirk congregation about 5 years ago.
John Whyte:
John is civil servant working in Cumbernauld and lives in Falkirk. He is currently studying an Access Course in Christian Theology through the Highland Theological College.
